The Web Marketing Association announced today that Scribendi.com has been awarded the Small Business Standard of Excellence WebAward for Outstanding Achievement in Web Development.

The WebAward—which recognizes the standard of excellence to which all small business websites should strive—is the icing on the cake for our company's vice-president and head web developer, Terence Johnson.

"Chandra and I put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into the Scribendi.com website and our proprietary workflow system, EditorWorks™," said Johnson. "It's very rewarding to be recognized for our efforts by the Web Marketing Association."

The WebAwards is an international website award program that names the best websites in 96 industries. Other winners of this year's competition include L.L. Bean, for Best Catalog Website, and National Geographic, for Best Education Website.
