Scribendi joins the YMCA's Celebration of Youth Awards by sponsoring the Creative Writing and Entrepreneurship Awards to recognize talented local youth.
Chatham, Ontario, March 15, 2019: Scribendi joins the YMCA's Celebration of Youth Awards as a sponsor. This collaboration will allow both the YMCA and Scribendi to recognize the accomplishments of local youth.
"The Celebration of Youth is one example of the Y's commitment to invest in the young people from Chatham-Kent," the YMCA website states. "Recognized regionally as one of Ontario's most prestigious awards for youth, the Celebration of Youth honours local youth, 17–20 years of age whose outstanding talents and achievements have made a difference in our community."
Scribendi will specifically sponsor the Creative Writing and Entrepreneurship Awards due to its passion for the written word and business innovation. The Creative Writing Award will be granted to a student whose creative writing exemplifies their insatiable urge to write; the Entrepreneurship Award will be granted to a student who shows great promise as an entrepreneur.
