Website Accessibility

Standards

We have designed this site to conform to the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and the United States Section 508 Guidelines.

To assist navigation through this site using keyboard shortcuts, we provide access keys. These follow the UK Government's standard system of numeric access keys where appropriate.

How to Use Access Keys

Access key functionality varies depending on the operating system and browser you are using. If in doubt, check the help file for your browser.

For most browsers, follow these steps:

  1. Press and hold the "Alt" key ("Ctrl" key on an Apple Mac).
  2. Press the letter or number of the access key, as listed below.
  3. Press the "return" or "enter" key. (Firefox users do not need this step.)

Drop-Down Navigation Menus

When using access keys to navigate this site, you may not see any drop-down navigation menus. The links on the pages you reach by using access keys allow you to navigate to all the pages listed in those menus. You may also use our site map for links to our pages.
