Scribendi.com's Affiliate Program

When you become an affiliate, you are assigned a unique affiliate ID. We have installed software on the Scribendi.com site that tracks these ID codes. When someone whom you have referred to Scribendi.com makes a purchase, your ID code is logged, and you are credited with a commission for that purchase.

First, review the Scribendi.com Affiliate Agreement, and then apply using the form provided. Please note that you must have a PayPal account in order to receive payments as an affiliate.

Not necessarily. Although having your own web site is the easiest way to promote Scribendi.com's services, it's not the only way to earn money as an affiliate. You could, for example, advertise Scribendi.com's services on other web sites using your affiliate ID; you could have your affiliate link printed on business cards that you hand out at meetings. If approved as a Scribendi.com Affiliate, you'll have access to our resources section, which will provide many helpful tips and ideas.

Although we are keen to promote Scribendi.com's services, we are equally keen to preserve our good reputation. Please note the following restrictions, as taken directly from the Scribendi.com Affiliate Agreement:

(5)(b) Affiliate will not:

(i) place any links, graphics, or advertising for the Scribendi Services on any web site or printed material which Scribendi has not approved in writing in its sole discretion;

(ii) promote or contain on its web site or related web sites or printed material any content, or be associated with any activity that Scribendi determines in its sole discretion is inconsistent with the Scribendi brand including, but not limited to anything: sexually explicit; pornographic; violent; discriminatory (based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, age, or otherwise); illegal; that violates intellectual property rights; or that offers gambling or the sale of medication, e-mail lists, bulk email tools, replica or fake goods, multi-level marketing schemes, pyramid schemes, custom academic documents (including pre-written term papers, dissertations, thesis, or other academic documents), or (unless the Affiliate is licensed to offer same) stock tips, investment advice, or mortgages;

(iii) use its web site or related sites or any other entity to send spam or unsolicited commercial email, whether related to the Scribendi Services or otherwise;

(iv) use any material to promote the Scribendi Services not supplied by or approved in writing by Scribendi, or make any representations about the Scribendi Services inconsistent with those found on Scribendi.com;

(v) place any links, graphics, or advertising for the Scribendi Services in any automatically opened new browser windows (pop-ups or pop-unders);

(vi) use or sell the Scribendi Services except as authorized herein;

(vii) misrepresent its identity or contact information to Scribendi or others; or

(viii) assign, sublicense, pledge, sell, rent, or otherwise transfer or share its rights under this Agreement, with the exception that it may assign this Agreement to another entity purchasing the Affiliate, provided that Scribendi is notified, and such entity explicitly agrees to be bound by this Agreement.

Yes, you will get a 3% commission for every sale your sub-affiliate makes and a 2% commission for every sale his or her sub-affiliate makes too. For example, if Joe Smith signed up to be a Scribendi.com Affiliate using your affiliate ID (and therefore becomes your sub-affiliate), and Joe then refers a sale worth $100, Joe gets $20, and you get $3. If Joe signs up Jane Ray as his sub-affiliate, and Jane refers a sale worth $100, Jane makes $20, Joe gets $3, and you get $2.

Affiliates are paid monthly, as long as they are owed $100 (USD) or more that month. If they have less than $100 owed to them at month-end, that balance will be rolled over until the next pay period. Affiliates are paid via PayPal, in US funds.

It is a way for you, as someone who knows the value of Scribendi.com, to be able to recommend Scribendi.com's services to other people and get paid for doing so.

Once your application is approved, you will be assigned an affiliate ID. You will also be given access to a number of advertising tools (text links, banners, etc.) that you can then post on your own web site, use in an advertising campaign, etc.

You will be paid from 15 to 20% of every sale you refer. For example, if someone you refer to us purchases $65.00 (USD) of services, you get up to $13.00 for making that referral.

Sorry, no. In our experience, PayPal is currently the fastest and least expensive (for both the sending and receiving parties) method to make payments online, especially across borders, in different banking systems, currencies, etc.

We offer $10 just for signing up; top-performing affiliates may be offered higher percentage commissions.

Yes, we welcome affiliates from around the globe. The only restriction is that you must be able to accept payment via PayPal. To find out if PayPal accounts are available in your country, visit the PayPal Worldwide page. Be sure to check that you can withdraw cash from your PayPal account as well.
