Decent: Used to define something that is appropriate, good enough, or acceptable.

Descent: This refers to the act of travelling downwards.

Example Sentences: It's your grandmother's birthday; get out of that ripped t-shirt and go put something decent on! The explorers were to make their descent into the cave by sunset.
